Good for a very basic, inexpensive brew, for beginners OR simply somebody making a good quality, non-complex table ale. Also good as the LME when one wants to add a bit more complexity with additional grains, but isn't doing an all grain recipe. .
I don’t care for pancake syrup; it’s too sweet for me. I use the malt extract for pancakes and waffles. Great stuff!
Used this a base malt for a simple Chec style Pilsner.1oz of Sazz at 601 oz sazzat 5 mins34/70 yeastDelicious and very very clean taste. Color is a little darker than I hoped however side by side Pilsen Urquell is a pretty close match.
Used this along with fermentable grain and steeping grain and fresh hops that I grew to make a great IPA !! Added great flavor and color to my wort and resulting ale. You guys are making this so fun and easy !
WE used this malt for a bee hive ale. Still waiting on the batch to finish.
