I've successfully used 29 other kits, but the last two times using this kit I had to dump. I do NOT recommend. Huge waste of time and expense.
Even though I'm into big dry reds, I took a chance on this so I'd have something light for summer entertaining. I did put it into a clean carboy to rest for about a month in the dark at approx. 60 degrees before I bottled it so I can't comment on what it was like after the standard-issue 28 days but I am very pleased with the results. No obnoxious sweetness like store-bought PG's and no serious rough edges even at this age. This is almost too easy to drink...
Very nice pinot. This wine was well liked by everyone who tried it. There is no oak to it so if your looking for medium dry wine that is universally appealing this is it.
