Started this kit Dec 2018 and bottled a few weeks ago. I like to bulk age - racking every 6-8 weeks. Three weeks prior to bottling I dropped in an oak spiral I had soaked in Knob Creek bourdon - absolutely delicious on bottling day so I am quite excited to open a bottle fall 2020!

I made this kit October 16 and let it age till April 17 before I opened a bottle. The taste is excellent and can easily hold its own with a similar Sagiovese you would purchase in the store at a $15-$20 range. It is full bodied wine with red fruit flavors in the mid palate and a long dry finish from the soft tannins.
