These tablets contain no animal products, are gluten free and Non-GMO. Each tablet is scored into 4 segements for ease of use.
Dosage: 1/2 tablet will set 2 gallons of milk in approximately 45 minutes at 86-95F. Ten tablets will set approximately 40 gallons of milk.
Directions: Crush desired portion of tablet and dissolve in 1/4c. cool, non-chlorinated water. Add to milk when specified in recipe. Stir to distribute thoroughly. NEVER keep part of rennet solution for later use. When using store bought milk you may need to add a little more rennet.
Ingredients: Microbial coagulant (Mucur Pussillus and/or Mucur Miehei), Cellulose Microcristaline and Sodium Chloride USP
Storage: Store rennet tablets in the freezer. They will last at least 3 years if stored properly.

In less than an hour my cheese was set, and it only took half a tablet. This box is good for over a year.
Follow the directions and measure correctly. Split a tablet in half, grind it up and in less than an hour your cheese is set. I've made literally pounds of Mozzerella using this and my cheese making kit.
These are great for making Mozzarella. Just half a tablet and 3/4 of an hour later and the cheese is set.
