Product Details

The three-prong degasser, with its long prongs, easily achieves the speed necessary for effective degassing. It can quickly and fully degas wine at the fining and stabilizing step and mix multiple batches with great ease. With three one-minute stirrings you’ll have better, smoother, and quickly clearing wine.

Nearly indestructible, this degasser is constructed from high-density food-grade plastic. Unlike most degassers, it can withstand the force of being reversed under full drill power. Plus, the prongs are flexible so they can easily slide through the neck of your carboy.

I have struggled to degas my wines. The three prong degasser has made the task easier and more efficient. Takes the guess work out of degassing.

Only used it once but

Only used it once but seems to work fine...as long as it fits into the carboy alright and doesnt splatter.

Gets the CO2 out of your wine

Overall it's very effective. Use its gently and it gets all the CO2 out of your wine. If you use it on a drill it's easy to go too fast and introduce Oxygen.

Good wine degasser

As long as you keep the rotation low, it's an effective degasser. Just be careful not to hit the sides or spin too fast. And afterwards wash it off with soap and water, don't just dunk it.

Good for wine and mead making

Its very effective as a de-gasser, just don't use a high speed drill or you may end up oxidizing your wine. The only downside is it needs to be cleaned well with all the surface area. Use a sponge and soapy warm water.
