4.5 / 5.021 ReviewsGets the job doneNothing fancy, but it works. The nice thing is that you can place your racking cane or siphon in the holder which frees up your hands. I recommend placing your racking cane only about half way down into your fermenter and lower the racking cane as the beer level decreases for clearer beer.December 5, 2012Does the jobKeeps your cane in place so you can do other things. Make sure to keep an eye on the level of the liquid so you can slide the cane down as the liquid siphons out. Watch out for yeast and nasty stuff clinging to the walls.December 30, 2012Nice extra piece of equipmentThis is an accessory that is by no means necessary but will be helpful when transferring large amounts of liquid. The holder attaches securely to the neck of a carboy but doesn't fit quite as well for the brew pails. I'm glad I bought this but if your a bare-bones brewer not necessary.March 31, 2013HandyThis racking tool allows a busy homebrewer to do other things while siphoning into secondary. I get the siphon going and come back in ten minutes to find the siphon has finished. This type of aid helps me to not get into to much trouble while working of the homebrew process. Thanks!April 16, 2013Cane Holder ReviewThe clip worked fine. It held on to the bucket, and is so tight on the cane that I can't get it off.April 30, 2013Does the jobI use this to keep my racking cane in place for transferring liquids. Nothing fancy but it does the job.July 10, 2013works well with my racking cane while transferring beerGreat product to have when you are transferring beer by yourself. Its like having an extra hand because it can clip on to both a bottling bucket or a glass carboy.July 16, 2013worksI have never had any problems with this clip. It stays in place as long as you don't bump the cane or accidentally tug the hose attached to the cane. I would buy this item again if my current one was lost or brokenJuly 31, 2013Helps hold it in placeIt can still be pulled to the side and then fall off the bucket if the tubing is off center. But overall it helps out.September 26, 2013
