4.3 / 5.011 ReviewsOne of the best kitsI brewed this kit in April 2011, and it is probably one of the best kits I have brewed for a refreshing summer beer. The extract added the perfect amount of flavor, and I steamed raspberries and blackberries to add to the secondary to add a little color. Everyone that tasted it loved it. Great value as well, and very easy to brew. Brewing a batch again this April!April 12, 2013Best Wheat I ever HadI have tried many wheat beers, and they were all too strong on the hops. This one is not. This is a great wheat for people who think they don"t like wheat beers.April 21, 2013Only use half the extractI like Sam Adams Cherry Wheat so I decided to get this kit. It makes a good base beer but the extract is not that good. What I did was use half the extract and primed with Cherry juice. This locked in the flavor and aroma and made a pretty good beer.July 1, 2013cherry wheatVery close to sam adams cherry wheat. Let it sit in the bottle for abot 6 weeks, and the flavor is much better.August 2, 2013raspberry beerI made this after having a commercial raspberry beer and liking it. Kit was good and easy to brew. Price is incredible too! A nice beer to have around when your in the mood for something different.August 14, 2013Came out wellI followed the mashing instructions and the beer came out well. The one difference is when I transferred to the secondary I added some Trader Joes Cherry Juice, and when I bottled I used half the called for Cherry Extract. Then I kegged it and 2 weeks later it was good. It ended up being a good drinkable beer that was popular. And the subtle cherry taste and aroma worked out well for the style.September 9, 2013This was a hitThis is a very nice wheat beer. I used the whole 4 ounces of extract and the Cherry taste was perfect. I let it ferment for a month, and condition for a month and it was consumed in 4 days. I'm actually kind of bummed about that, because I wanted to have more of it myself. I will buy this kit again in the spring.January 15, 2013Great Flavor and AromaThis kit had a wonderful aroma and flavor from the raspberrys. I'd definitely make this again even though I'm usually not a fan of wheat beers.April 19, 2013Augment the extractI had been warned that using the Cherry extract alone would be a mistake. I instead I used Cherry puree, that I added to the secondary, a week before bottling, so the flavor and aroma would still be strong. I used 1 can of puree, and 2 ounces of extract and it had a good cherry aroma and taste. And I used the smack pack, to get the best taste I could.May 21, 2013
