4.4 / 5.056 ReviewsVery weakmade this just like the instructions said, its very watery, not a whole lot of body and the raspberry barely comes through, i did 2 in the primary and 2 in the seconday and 1 in the keg, it looks very good it has a nice darker color but just lacks on any flavor, its like drinking carbed water.June 19, 2011A :iittle heavy on Raspberry FlavorI like this beer, but I would likely only use 1/2 of the flavoring on the next batch.February 11, 2013So good! This may be my new favorite beer! Easy to make as usual and a great fruity beer.March 17, 2013Delicious!!I made this beer as an attempt to find a beer my wife would like. And while she didn't love it...she did not make 'bitter beer face' so that is definite improvement :) With my other friends and family, this beer was a huge hit. I will absolutely be adding this to my regular rotation.June 3, 2013Nice WheatI brewed this kit as directed with the exception of adding two pounds of clover honey with 30 mnutes left on the boil. As stated in other reviews, the raspberry extract does give more of an artificial taste but after a month of bottle conditioning it did mellow out. Overall this is a great kit to brew and it produces a great traditional wheat beer. Mowing the lawn has become a more welcomed project knowing that there are a couple of these brews chilling in the fridge for when the job is done. Next I will be trying Midwest's Honey Wheat and adding my own raspberry extract to see how it compares. Enjoy!June 17, 2013Did the job!Personally I don't like fruity beer. But I ordered this for my girlfriend's graduation and her mother. They both love fruity beer and they both loved this beer. So, if you love raspberries in your beer, then this is a great kit. Some reviewers complain about the extract, but I thought it was pretty true to form. _x000D__x000D_My gf's mother compared the final product to Blue Moon, which I assumed was a good thing. Also I cut the bottle time by about half a week. I can not stress enough that everyone I made this beer for LOVED it.June 18, 2013First KitI brewed this as my first kit for my wife and was a little concerned that people saying on reviews that the raspberry was to strong and to only add a little. We added all of the extract and let it sit in bottle for the recommended amount of time and I must say it doesnt taste bad. My wife loves it so I would say it was a home run!!!!!June 24, 2013great beer!Me and my friend brewed this kit a while back and loved it! Very refreshing! I must add that I'm not one for adding flavor extracts so we added allot of fresh raspberries instead of the flavor extract that came with the kit. If you do go that same route, this is a great base wheat beer for any fruit addition you choose!July 22, 2013Delicious and refreshing beerGood beer on a hot summer day. Has a very nice raspberry flavor without overpowering the beer. Everyone who has tried has liked it so far. Will brew againAugust 29, 2013A keg full at all timesThis kit is a regular at my house, the Mrs. enjoys it so much I get away with trashing her kitchen on brew day with no complaints. A very refreshing summer beer, great to have on hand for all occasions. Even people who say they don't like beer down this and compliment.October 18, 2013

Browse 1 question Browse 1 question and 5 answersThis is my first experience with WB-06 Dry Yeast, my recipes have started gassing after 12-18 hours normally, It's been over 36 hours and I'm still not seeing activity from my airlock. Recipe says 1-3 days, but this seems strange to me. Is something wrong?BEST ANSWER: Yes, something is wrong. I just made batch this morning... Rehydrated, and had the yeast in by noon, and it's already bubbling away.
