4.0 / 5.05 Reviewsrocky pale aleVery robust pale ale. Color was amber and flavor was good...lots of grapefruit!August 27, 2013More amber than paleI picked up this kit when I was trying out a new mash tun and wanted a basic beer to test it out. The beer is really nice, but not what I had expected. The color is is light to medium amber. A lot maltier and less hoppy than I was anticipating. Overall though, it is a well balanced and easy drinking beer. My neighbor who doesn't like those "dark" beers took quite a liking to it. I have added it to my brewing rotation.December 26, 2012Smooth IPADDecided to try something different for once, I prefer stouts. But decided to put this in my cart with a custom reciepe kit. I brewed this one first and to my surprise it's a really good beer... Not to much hops in the taste but actually a very nice malty flavor that I prefer in my beers. It will be brewed again for sure._x000D__x000D_April 7, 2013Well balancedA good tasting and well balanced Pale Ale. The malt has a caramel taste and the hops added a fruity flavor but not too much bitterness. It took a long time to fully carbonate, and I ended up waiting 6 weeks after it was bottled before drinking.March 21, 2014
