Drilled to accept an airlock (#7008 and 7010).
Universal bungs have a longer taper than standard rubber stoppers, for snugger fit and better seal — plus a lip prevents bung from falling into carboy.
This drilled universal bung will work with glass carboys.

4.8 / 5.062 ReviewsKeep several of these aroundI have several of these bungs that fit perfectly in my 6 gallon glass carboys. I also use them with my carboy cleaner and stirrer that attach to my drill. They will keep you from breaking your carboy and from making a mess.June 1, 2013fits okThis fits well into the 5gal glass carboy. BUT, you need to be careful about inserting and leaving if there is any moisture on either surface. I've found that when I insert the bung and walk away after brewing, I can almost guarantee on returning in 2 hours and it has pushed itself out. I have even tried to wipe dry, but this still seems to happen once or twice. Once it stays, it's there for good. I love how easily it fits 5/16" tubing or the S-shaped airlock.June 3, 2013creates a good sealthis stopper seals off the throat of the carboy really well. get it a little wet first and there will be no issue of infection or leaking of any sort.June 3, 2013Good stopperThis fits great in my 5 gallon glass carboy, nice and tight. The stopper seems to be well made and sturdy as well.June 13, 2013if you have a carboy, you should have this. This works great. I have had no problems with it. If your fermentations regularly go over the top, you should use a carboy cap with a blowoff tube first, then put this on with an airlock when it starts to settle out. No complaints on the price either.July 26, 2013Inexpensive and fits my carboysGreat price and fits snugly so no air gets in. Dry it off before inserting it.August 6, 2013Use for all glass carboysI use these on all of the glass carboys I own. I personally prefer plastic secondaries, but for the glass ones I own this bung is what you want. It won't fall in and it will seal up tight the precious liquid gold contained within.September 19, 2013Gets the job doneLow cost, works well for the most part. It doesn't stay in very well if it or the carboy is wet. However once in it, it stays in pretty well. You get what you pay for. The airlock is sometimes hard to remove. Hot water helps.October 1, 2013Do not fit 1 gallon wine jugsThese are very nice and feel well made; I bought these to use with 1 gallon glass wine jugs (from store bought wine) but they are too big. The inside diameter of the wine jugs are 1 1/4"; the bottom diameter of these are 1 1/4" and will not compress into the mouth of the jugs. Instead I had to use 6 ?_ drilled-solid bungs which have a bottom diameter of 1? and tapper up to 1 5/8?. Disappointed in the size and wish there was dimensions listed instead of just gallon sizes; but as far as the quality of the product goes they are very nice. I?ll save them to use on a carboy in the future.December 23, 2010

We ship via UPS and so they are unable to deliver to APO addresses. Sorry! James J.Will this fit the one-gallon carboys available on this site?BEST ANSWER: No, for the One-Gallon Glass Jugs, or 1/2 Gallon Jugs, you will want to use the #6 stoppers.
