I prefer this to the tablets
I can measure the exact quantity I need instead of splitting tablets. But you will need a very precise scale to do this, accurate to 1/100 of a gram. Accuracy to one gram is not good enough.

removes chloramine from water
I use it to remove Chloramine from my brewing water which unlike Chlorine will not evaporate within a reasonable time. I measure it on my scale that I use to weight grain, no problems.

For New Jersey brewing water
The water here contains Chloramine. I use Sodium Metabisulfite to remove it so it doesn't affect the taste of my beer. Just add it to the brewing water before you begin heating, and the Chloramine has broken down by the time you get to mashing temperature.

Great alternative to buying sanitizer
I use this product exclusively for sanitizing all of my wine equipment and have never had any problems. Product is reasonably priced especially in the larger quantity. I have to wear gloves however as this stuff irritates my skin when mixed into a solution.

Better than Tablets
As said in another review, can be irritating to the skin._x000D_Usable both to sanitize as well as kill "wild yeast"_x000D_Buy in bulk to get "more for your money."

I use it for my brewing water
Where I live the tap water is treated with Chloramine which is bad for brewing. _x000D_I use it to remove Chloramine from my brewing water, 1/2 a tablet for 7 gallons is all you need._x000D_

Easier to measure than using tablets
I have a very accurate scale and can measure exactly how much I need. I use it to sanitize, stop growth, and reduce chloramine.

prepare your brewing water
I use 1/2 a tablet per brew session. Using this will help rid your beer of the Phenolic taste you get from Chlorine.

Great for storing wine long term
This is necessary to protect your wine from yeast, bacteria, and oxidation. Just a little goes a long way, and it can be hard measuring out the right amount for smaller batches, so get a precision scale.

powder
It is a white powder in a plastic bag. If you carry it in your car without a label and get pulled over by the police. You may be held and Questioned. The plastic bag works great. Opens And Closes.
