Most especially on the therminator where the hose & wort fittings are pretty close together...now it's all snap-click and done! _x000D__x000D_The fittings are good quality, heavy stainless steel. They feel like they'll last a lifetime. They also seal falwlessly. Not a drop leaks out during flow (which is a problem I've had with other QD fittings). _x000D__x000D_Fantastic product. Upgrade your kit and shave time off your brew-day._x000D__x000D_Cheers & Happy Brewing!October 23, 2012

To be SS.I don't fully understand what your asking but the ball bearings "snap" into place and as long as it's the right diameter and you use hose clamps when you can everything should stay sealed. I did loose a bearing in one and it still seals it's just a pain to get off, hope that helps cheers!are these good up to kettle temperature?BEST ANSWER: Yes they are. Many brewers attach these to the ball valve on their kettles. What does it mean that this quick disconnect is not compatible with other styles?
