DetailsThe Brew Belt is the perfect solution for those who need a little extra heat to keep your fermentation at a warm enough temperature. This simple unit produces 15 watts of heat right where you want it. Instead of having to raise the temperature of the room, just attach the Brew Belt, plug it in, and you are good to go. The Brew Belt raises the temp about 10° F from the room's ambient temperature. If you want to be more exact with the temperature, hook it up to one of our thermostat controllers.
Note: Will not fit 7.9 gallon fermenter that we carry. This unit is not designed for wet areas, carboys, or to be immersed in liquid.

4.7 / 5.035 Reviewsa must haveI used this the first night I got it. When I came home from work the temp in my house was 42 degrees, the temp in my bucket was 63. I was amazed, I feel it saved my batch of beer. I will be ordering another one for sure. If its cold you need this.December 14, 2012Great for minor adjustmentsThis belt is great for getting fermentation going when your fermentation area is a bit cold. But don't expect to be able to control your temperature perfectly as it isn't able to heat that much.October 10, 2012Helpful during folder monthsBought this product to help with fermentation during the winter/spring. Very pleased with the subtle heat that it gave off. Nice product!October 17, 2012goodworks good my basement is cool and it keeps fermenter at the right temp_x000D_October 18, 2012Bumps up the tempThis does just what you need to keep the fermentation temps up. Another product that I'm glad that I purchased.November 21, 2012greatMy wine equipment is in my cool basement, it's great for the winter months.November 26, 2012Works great for meI have been using this for a few months now. There was some confusion with my initial order and I received "The Brew Hauler" instead but Midwest's service people were fast to fix this for me and sent me the brew belt and allowed me to keep the brew hauler for my trouble. Amazing service. And the belt itself works amazingly I ensure to unplug it every few days as I have read a few reviews that it will burn out if left plugged in for too long. But the products works wonderfully so far I just unplug it to cover myself, just in case.January 5, 2013Saved by the belt!I helped a friend recently brew his first ever home brew. It turns out that the kit was a bit old. The yeast was expired by TWO years. I thought, how Dead could it be? As it turns out, pretty DEAD!March 5, 2016Excellent productMy primary fermentation is done in an unheated basement. The brew belt takes my fermentation temperature from the ambient 58 degrees and maintains it between 68 and 70 degrees. Easy to install. My brew bucket is a wider design, with a little stretching o fthe spring it was a great fit.February 6, 2013Brewer's Belt will Stabilize your BucketLiving in the midwest during the winter makes it hard to maintain the temp for anything you may be brewing. This belt raises the temp about 4 degrees from the room temp and can make a 68 degree cellar a 72 degree room ideal for making a good batch of wine. I only gave it 4 stars because a way to adjust or regulate the temp would make it 5 stars.February 16, 2013

The Brew Belt can be used on glass carboys.what do I do for a 7.9 fermenter? this belt says will not work with the standard size fermenter that you sell.BEST ANSWER: A Fermenting heater could work for a 7.9 fermenter (item number 40535). The main issue would be that it would not sit very cleanly on the curved surface of the conical fermenter.
