DetailsThe three-prong degasser, with its long prongs, easily achieves the speed necessary for effective degassing. It can quickly and fully degas wine at the fining and stabilizing step and mix multiple batches with great ease. With three one-minute stirrings you’ll have better, smoother, and quickly clearing wine.
Nearly indestructible, this degasser is constructed from high-density food-grade plastic. Unlike most degassers, it can withstand the force of being reversed under full drill power. Plus, the prongs are flexible so they can easily slide through the neck of your carboy.

4.4 / 5.014 ReviewsAerationIf this doesn't aerate and de-gas your wine...NOTHING WILL. Wish that I would have gone straight to this aerator. Cost more, but worth it in the long run. $20-25 this would be perfect.November 21, 2012A very useful piece of equipmentIt does a wonderful job of de-gassing your wine. Treat it with care, the prongs are not indestructible, and can also damage a soft plastic bucket. And remember to clean it before and after using, so you don't introduce an infection.December 31, 2012Works very wellI attached it to a low speed drill and run it at a low speed for a short while, just to de-gas it, I don't want to Oxygenate my wine.April 2, 2013Degasses my wineIt does a good job of de-gassing my wine. Be careful because the prongs are plastic and can break if they hit the wrong material at speed. You also don't want them hitting the side of a plastic bucket and causing scratches._x000D_I like clean it before and after using, so you don't introduce an infection.July 16, 2013good degasserIt does good job degassing wine. I have it attached to a drill I can run very slowly. If you whip up a froth you will end up aerating it which you don't want to do. After use I set it in warm water then immediately wipe it off with a soapy sponge so nothing sticky dries on it.August 6, 2013Good for wine and mead makingIts very effective as a de-gasser, just don't use a high speed drill or you may end up oxidizing your wine. The only downside is it needs to be cleaned well with all the surface area. Use a sponge and soapy warm water.October 28, 2013Gets the CO2 out of your wineOverall it's very effective. Use its gently and it gets all the CO2 out of your wine. If you use it on a drill it's easy to go too fast and introduce Oxygen.January 19, 2014Only used it once butOnly used it once but seems to work fine...as long as it fits into the carboy alright and doesnt splatter.December 24, 2015Works like a charmAttach it to a low variable speed drill and you can de-gass and aerate in no time. Don't waste time with shaking, this is easy to use.January 8, 2013Great Degasser!Degases wine in minutes fat A great product, that will least for years. I would not use this in a plastic buckets however as the prongs spread out quite far when spinning and may damage the inside of the bucket. Also note that the design is a 5 piece design (lots of nooks for material to seep in and get trapped) so a good cleaning after use is highly recommended to prevent bacterial contamination._x000D_January 25, 2013
