5.0 / 5.07 ReviewsStrong bittering hopHorizon is a good bittering hop for my IPAs. An ounce provides plenty of bittering, more than other bittering hops. In a less alcoholic beer I'd boil them for 45 minutes instead of 60, to cut down on bitterness.March 19, 2014Good flaforTogether with Cascade hops they give a nice flavor to my IPAs. I also use them in Lagers to make a hoppy lager.March 2, 2014Great hops with multi-uses.This is a great dual-purpose hops that can be used through all the stages of brewing. I've used it for bittering, flavoring, and aroma and honestly I find that it has a good use for each of them. No matter what you use it for, you really cannot go wrong.July 17, 2013Nice HopsHorizon is a very good dual use hops with some unique traits.
