5.0 / 5.07 ReviewsNice HopsHorizon is a very good dual use hops with some unique traits. It can have a wide range of alpha acid between 10%-16% allowing it to swing in many directions for different uses. It also has a nice flora aroma, as well as provide some citrus fruits flavor.July 16, 2013VersatileThis is a very versatile hop. Can be used for both bittering or aroma. I find it's better for bittering.December 11, 2012Strong bittering hopHorizon is a good bittering hop for my IPAs. An ounce provides plenty of bittering, more than other bittering hops. In a less alcoholic beer I'd boil them for 45 minutes instead of 60, to cut down on bitterness.March 19, 2014Nuggets Half SisterThis hops can be used at any point of the boil from start to finish.
