Not bad, but maybe not for beginners

This was the third recipe kit I've ordered. It was easy to make and did great right up to bottling. The day I went to bottle it I noticed that the golden, bright, orange juice color had started to darken just a little. It tasted OK, so I bottled it.

After sitting in the bottle for 2 weeks, it poured a muddy orange brown. It still smelled good but had a really skunky finish. I had to do a lot of Googling to figure out what went wrong.

My issue with the product is that the instructions didn't provide any info or additional details that could have prevented this. Since then, I've noticed that's a recurring theme with recipe kit instructions. I now find info online or in books which is much more thorough and produces better and more consistent results.

Dank NZ hops

I have used these hops in a pineapple cider on a number of occasions. Great citrus/tropical fruit notes. I use them purely for dry hopping, but i think these would be great in almost any hoppy application.
