Pinot Grigio, sometimes referred to as Pinot Gris, is a light to medium bodied dry wine. It has lime, pear, green apple and peach notes, good minerality and hints of honey and almond in the finish.
Pinot Grigio grapes are gown in nearly all fair weather regions, but is a specialty of the Italian vineyards. Great with lighter dishes: snapper, sea bass, oysters (either grilled or raw) or with cheese-based pasta dishes.
