DetailsThe Zinfandel Blush is a lighter version of the heftier Zinfandel. You'll notice a jam fruit aroma. The flavor is a melding of berries and a spiciness for a zesty blush wine. This concentrated juice (68 Brix) will make an excellent wine on its own, or blend it with another fruit or Alexander's Concentrate for a truly unique wine. Other ingredients you will need: Campden Tablets, Yeast Nutrient, Bentonite, Wine Yeast, Acid Blend, and Sparkalloid or other clarifier. Use One 46 oz. can for 2.5 gallons.

No acid blend; just stabilizer/clarifiers. Bottled into 375ml bottles (which is just enough for two people to split at dinner); and let it sit for 45 days days. Came out very nicely. Brought two bottles to an event, and people asked for more, so I am guessing my batch was not too shabby. I will be making this again.February 18, 2016Improves your kitAdding a can will make your zinfandel taste much better, with a deeper and richer flavor. The extra volume will help fill the head space in the aging tank as well.February 3, 2014Good wine concentrateBy itself it makes a tasty 1 gallon wine. If you plan on making larger amounts, like 5 gallons, use an extra can beyond what the directions say.February 2, 2014Enhances a wine kitI added a can to low end a kit that made a fair wine, and this time the wine came out quite good. Much thicker and richer tasting. I've also made good stand alone 1 gallon batches.December 16, 2013makes a fair wine by itselfIts easy to make a pretty good table wine with this concentrate. I would mix it with another concentrate for a more complex flavor. In any case its a good starter wine for new wine makers.October 22, 2013Good base concentrateI use this to either enhance a wine kit or I use several as their own stand alone base. Its a good quality concentrate and you can make an outstanding Zinfandel with it. Don't be fooled into thinking that only kits make good wine. These cans are worth it.August 16, 2013Very Good table wineI had a little left over in my carboy when bottling so I shared a glass with my wife. I can only imagine what the wine will taste like in 6 month. Excellent tasting white zinfandel.June 24, 2013Good concentrateThis is a good concentrate, maybe the next best thing to having real fruit. You can make excellent 1 gallon batches, or add this to a base and enhance it._x000D__x000D__x000D_April 5, 2013Pretty good table wineEasy to make, pretty good table wine.
