This was my first attempt at brewing. Besides being fun (I did rack to a carboy as the secondary fermenter), the results are really a great home brew. This is a perfect Fall/Winter Ale. It has a pure amber color, nice aroma and has the just right bitter taste. I will surely brew this "kit" again next August. My second brew (Honey Weizen) will be ready to tast test in three weeks, cannot wait, Hope it comes out as good as this one!!

After a few small batches in a Mr. Beer kit, this was my first "real" try at brewing. It seemed like everything went wrong, but a few weeks later I was enjoying a very good flavored amber ale. I'll definitely be making this one again!

This is a very good beer and a good starter beer for those that are just getting into it. If you are afraid of to bitter and not enough flavor. Don't be with this one. Very nice for the fall/winter seasons.

This was my second attempt at home brewing, so I was way more familiar with the process. After 30 minutes steeping grains and boil, I placed in primary fermenter for 7 days, then transferred to carboy for 2 weeks and then bottled. After 2 weeks of bottle conditioning this brew came out great! In fact, I enjoyed it enough that I've just finished brewing the 2nd batch. I'm hoping that the second attempt comes out as good as the first. Cheers.

This was my first darker beer and it's very tasty. 1 week of fermentation with the Munton's yeast and 2 weeks in the carboy. Carbonated with Munton's Kreamy-X for 3 weeks.

This was my second batch. I used White Labs - California Ale yeast. This beer is smooooooth and great tasting. Since I'm new to homebrewing I'm playing the field of flavors right now, but this is one I'll definitely come back to.
-used 6.5 gallon carboy primary fermenter for 7 days.
- racked to five gallon for one month.
- primed and bottled. tasted one after the first week and although not carbonated yet, I could taste it was going to be a winner. after 2nd week - this beer came to life. Enjoy.

I've been brewing for a few months now and this kit was the first one I tried. Everyone loved it! I've brewed 5 other batches since then and my friends keep asking when I'm brewing that "Autumn Amber Ale" again. I'll definitely be coming back to this recipe.

Sampled the first bottle today after two weeks of conditioning and was extremely pleased. As good as any amber at the bar. I can't wait to taste after another few weeks... This one will be getting brewed again!
