This dme worked well, was fresh and dissolved quickly. Muntons makes quality malt products.

I am mainly an all-grain brewer but I always keep a bag of this DME on hand. If I miss my gravity by a point or two, I can always add a little DME without changing the flavor of the beer. It is also great for making yeast starters.

I always try to keep a pound or two of this stuff around. I only All-grain but it works well as a band-aid for brew day mishaps. Also excellent for yeast starters; I haven't noticed any off flavors. Would recommend maybe putting it in a tub rather than keeping it in the bag, my bag has no way to seal and keep fresh. Also has a tendency to become the stickiest liquid ever once wet and on your counter.

This is one of those things that I must always keep handy. Perfect for yeast starters and/or adding some fermentables to the beer when you come a bit short on your preboil gravity. It also keeps for a long time which makes buying in bulk much more attractive.

This light DME from Munton & Fison did a great job with a light ale that I brewed recently. It was cheap and was a great compliment to the rest of the ingredients I used.

the light dry malt extract is perfect for a yeast starter it wont add odd color to a lighter color beer.

Really a necessity for making a great yeast starter.
