This system is really great

I love this mini kegging system. I use it around my pool in Arizona. It's 105°F outside but the beer is cold. The system is very portable and I can't wait until football and tailgating. To bad Kurt Warner retired. I keep all the kegs on ice in a cooler and when I want a beer I just pull the tapped one out fill my glass and put it back.
The only problem I can see with it is getting the water to drain completely out after cleaning.
I really love it and am going to order more kegs so I can keep up with the football season.

Got this system as a gift from midwest and I hate it. I have had nothing but trouble keeping pressure once tapped. Air leaks around the bung and sometimes from where the CO2 cartridge attaches.
I followed instructions fully and even researched other comments online and at best it get hit or miss results.
If others have good results my hats off to ya but I wouldn't use this system if it was free!

I can not keep the c02 in the barrels. it leaks out as soon as it is put in. If I open a mini I have to finish it off or it goes flat overnight. I have the exact same problems as Rob in the post above

I have been using this system since I started homebrewing. It is very simple to use and the beer tastes great on tap. You do have to make sure that the tube going in to the keg is tightened securely. Other then that the system is almost foolproof. The kegs are easy to store in the shipping box. I can get four of them in my fridge very easily. They travel great, I have a cooler that will hold two kegs and a bag of ice. I highly recommend this system for anyone who likes draft beer. Brew on!!

They have been better than Corny Kegs!

I received the Party Star Deluxe system for Christmas....and it has been all sorts of awesome!
I have not had success with Corny Kegs....even after extensive repair sessions, I always seem to have a leak and an empty 20lb cylinder of C02...so I went exclusively to bottles
While I enjoyed my bottled beer, I always wondered what they would taste like on draft....
I had a Chocolate Milk Stout and a Heffe in secondary and probably 1/2 the bottles needed to package both batches....so I kegged 1/2 of each batch in the Mini Kegs (two kegs of stout....two kegs of heffe...the rest in bottles)
In just about three weeks I busted out the Keg of Stout....it was so awesome....family and friends couldn't get enough....the Keg was killed! Same goes for the Heffe
You have to be cognizant of the gray Rubber bungs that come in a separate bag with the package...those suckers are really what keeps your home brew fresh....once you put the bung in....don't pull it out until the beer is gone....
The party star tap slides right into the bung and creates a seal....

Terrible Investment

Do not buy this system. I have the exact same problem as Rob and David. The bung will not hold pressure once tapped. The CO2 leaks out around bung. The system worked great for 2 kegs and now it is just worthless. I have lost 15 liters of quality homebrew because of this system. Spend the extra time and bottle! What a disappointment.

The BEST kegging system ever!

If you want to have more than one kind of beer in your refrigerator at one time, this is THE way to go. Most other kegs take up all the space in your refrigerator. these mini kegs only take up one shelf! If you want to take a keg to a party they are really convenient with the small CO2 tap. When you consider the cost of a 5 gallon keg and a regular size CO2 tank and all, they are the best deal. I have filled some of my mini kegs over 6 times and have not had a problem.

This system is wonderful, I love having fresh homebrew on tap in my fridge. I don't know what's going on with the other reviews, but my kegs keep the seal for weeks! The only down side is the co2 cartridges die out after about 1 or 2 weeks, so you need to drink these pretty fast (or just replace the co2 cartridge).

Better than Bottles!

Easy to use. Easy to fill. Makes for quick work on bottling day. Once you get the carbonation dialed in it works great and fits in the fridge. Price for the tap is pretty high for what you are getting.

Got it for Xmas

Got this system for Xmas from the Mrs and my kids.....I also bought two extra kegs as well. What I have been doing is bottling half of the batch and kegging the other half. Have only had issues with one keg not getting a proper seal after insterting the tap, a little wiggling and a second CO2 cartridge and it sealed right up - had no issues with any other kegs. key is to make sure the seal is good and you are good to go. Brew has tasted wonderful...
