DetailsThe Brass 1/2" NPT (National Pipe Thread) x 1/2" Barb works well with the Kewler and Weld-B-Gone kits, or the Blichmann 1/2" stainless ball valve. Makes attaching 1/2" tubing to your equipment easy with the use of one of these barbs.

5.0 / 5.08 ReviewsHooked it up to me Weldless Kettle Conversion kitI just screwed it in and hooked up a silicone tube and it works. I didn't need to use Teflon tape, and it doesn't screw in all the way, but there is no leak.January 31, 2013Fits my ball valveMy pot has a ball valve, and I screwed it in, then attached a tube and was in business. The connections are all tight, with no leaks.February 10, 2013Nice OptionThis brass barbed end is a great economy option for any brewer. I used brass when I was first starting out and it worked great. You do have to consider corrosion from acidic wort and know that these may need to be replaced in the future.March 11, 2013Brass not Stainless SteelI'd give them 5 stars if made of stainless steel. I use it to pump from my ball vale to my fermentor. I just attach it to the ball valve, and thread on the Silicone tubing, no leaks, takes 15 seconds.April 14, 2013For my Ball valveThis is the right part to connect the ball valve on my brew kettle to tubing that I use to transfer to my fermentor. It screwed right in and no leaks.July 19, 2013fits my ball valveIt screws right into the ball valve on my kettle. I attached tubing and there was no leakage,August 24, 2013Doesn't quite fit my Blichmann BoilermakerIt screws in and doesn't leak, but it doesn't screw in all the way, it stops several turns short. It could be the pot and not barb. In any case it works out.December 5, 2013It does fit my ball valveIt doesn't screw all the way in, but it still makes a water tight seal and I've never had any leakage problem. For the limited contact time (about 4 minutes) brass is fine, you don't need stainless steel.January 16, 2014
