It's going to last a life time, so it's a good investment. Solidly built, you can't go wrong.February 24, 2013Works great for all grain & malt kits.Deep spoon works great for stirring in crushed grains in mash tuns, as well as stirring your malt kits. Stainless last forever and looks great too. Cannot beat the price either.February 25, 2013Great multitaskerThis spoon is great for stirring the wart without having to dip your hand into the liquid gold. While it is steel and could probably be used for other applications I only use mine for brewing. A great spoon and worth the money.February 26, 2013Worked GreatDid the job. What else is there to say?February 28, 2013Great ValueThis spoon is well made and very study compared to other comparably priced spoons. It is long enough to reach to the bottom of your brew pot. Well made, great price.March 1, 2013huge improvement over plastic spoonsThis spoon I bought after my plastic spoon was in rough shape. High quality, does not bend even when mixing some thicker mashes and always cleans up nice. A $7 stainless spoon seemed like it would have been cheap junk this has worked very well.March 5, 2013Great basic upgrade. After using a wooden kitchen spoon that was too short for years, this purchase has been surprisingly appreciated. The length is nice, I like that its stainless steel, and won't be flavoring my beer with the aroma of the chili I made the night before. As with every piece of brewing equipment you purchase like this, the convenience of just keeping it with your brewing stuff goes a long way.March 5, 2013It's a spoon! At first I wasn't sure if I'd be able to thwart off zombie attacks, trick or treaters or mother in laws with this spoon, but after many hours of trials, sweat, and screams of horror, let me just say this spoon is amazing. It stirs a hell of a wort too.March 12, 2013Much better than my oldMuch better than my old flimsy plastic spoon that turned green after the first batch.January 13, 2016There is a reason it's out of stock...This is a really great item to add to your brewing arsenal. I use mine for mixing the wort after you dump it into your fermenter and just prior to pitch your yeast. I also believe that this item is necessary if you have a bottling bucket. I used to just put in the boiled water/sugar combo and siphon the beer on top of it (Brewing book said to do it this way) but then I would get batches where some bottles were too carbonated and some were not very carbonated at all. As obvious as this sounds, stirring eradicated this problem.March 14, 2013
