Saves time
You can cut your filling time in half with these big guys, and they are a better size than a 12 ounce bottle which is too small if you want to have a few beers.

nice bottles
It is much easier to bottle in these larger bottles, I always bottle the majority of my beer in these larger bottles. It is quicker, takes less space to store and I have found the larger bottles age and taste better.

Good
Bottling is a pain, but larger bottle size make it go faster. And who only drinks 12oz of beer at a time?_x000D__x000D_Only drawback is you need to pour 2 cups at the same time (or one giant cup) when you start to pour otherwise the yeast cake gets disturbed.

Half the work
Getting bombers is definitely a nice addition to the brewery! It means half the bottles and half the time. It is also nice to have a big beer or something that needs to condition awhile in some bombers rather than 12 ozers.

Great bottles
Great 22oz bottles! Nicely made, no pitting. 12oz bottles are for kids! It still takes two of these to fill my beer mug.

Big bottles
Good sized bottles that hold a real serving rather than a paltry 11 or 12 ounces. Cuts bottling time by 15 minutes.

Bombers
Just the right size for a real drink. I can cut my bottling time and have half as many bottles to fill. The amber protects against sunlight so the beer doesn't get skunked like green bottles do.

good
I am using the 22 oz bottles and the 12 oz, but I like the 22 oz the best because a 12oz isn't enough and drinking two is to much._x000D_A 22oz is just right and I think the beer ages better in the larger_x000D_bottles.

Can you use a hand capper?
J E on Feb 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello Jeremy,

Thank you for choosing Midwest Supplies! You can most definitely use a hand capper on those bottles! I hope that this helps, let me know if you have any further questions!
What is the CO2 volume limit of these bottles?
S M on Aug 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They should be good to 3-3.5 volumes. Anything that would be higher than that should be put into Champagne bottles, or the heavier Belgian beer bottles. -Mike W, Midwest Supplies
What are the exterior dimensions of the box?
T I on Aug 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 9-1/4" X 12-1/4" X 11-1/2"tall
This is the actual box they are in.
They came 2 packed in a bigger box to prevent damage during shipping. I do not know the dimensions of that box.
How many times can these bottles be capped before they fatigue and crack?
M I on Mar 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Tough question! I have never heard anyone give a number as to how many times they could be used; as long as they are undamaged, they could be used many, many times. Inspect the lip area for damage, as that is the important part for sealing it up, and as long as it's un-chipped and un-cracked, it should be usable for a very long time! I have never heard of them just failing from regular use. -Mike W, Midwest Supplies
What is the diameter of a bottle?
A shopper on Dec 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 2.920 is what my calipers measure fractionally that's approximately 2 15/16 (2.937)
