Details29mm European Bottle Caps. Do you have bottles from Europe and can't seem to get your caps to clamp tightly? European bottles can be slightly larger at the opening than American bottles, so you will need to use these caps. These caps need to be used with a European bottle capper to accommodate for their larger size.. These are for the large style European bottles only and will not work on American pry off bottles. 100 Count.

1 month agoFits some wine bottlesJust the thing for capping some of the one liter and 3/4 liter wine bottles and use them for Mead which I give away.February 23, 201429mm capsI have bottles from all over the world, so I have to keep a few of these around. Seals the imported bottles nicely.October 9, 2013Great for larger bottlesI needed a way to close my crown-capable Belgian (Lindemans), champagne and large format ale bottles and these caps fit them perfectly. Yes, they are slightly more expensive than the regular caps, but these caps are larger and fit all those large bottles that you couldn't use before. With these caps and the additional European capper bell that mounts on the Red Baron I instantly expanded my bottling capacity!May 30, 2013Reuse those heavy 750ml bottlesDid you know you can reuse and recap champagne and some Belgian bottles? Just swap out your capper's included capping bell for a 29mm bell, get these 29mm caps, and you're in business. These are too big for standard bottles, but they're just the right size for some thicker bottles. Pick these up if you bottle sour or highly carbonated styles.February 27, 2013Great for soursI like to reuse a lot of heavy glass bottles and I have found that lots of them take 29mm caps. This is a great product if you do sours at all. Many cork and caged bottles can actually use this cap. Just pick up a bigger bell for your capper.January 29, 2013Works great so farIt was my first time using 29mm bottles. I had used the Red Baron capper with standard sized bottles and caps before, but I was hesitant. Would my 29mm capping head work? Would the seals hold on my re-purposed champagne bottles? Would my Dunkel be safe?_x000D__x000D_It turns out that my fears were unfounded. Everything worked out well. The seals have held just fine and my Dunkel is aging quietly, safely, in its regal new 750mL champagne bottles.January 7, 2013

Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 10 answersWill these caps work on Corona beer bottles?BEST ANSWER: The Corona beer bottles that I have seen take a 26 mm size cap. The 29 mm size is generally used for European sparkling wine bottles..Is this cap for the Belgian beer bottles?BEST ANSWER: Worked on some of mine. My old wing capper doesn't clamp around the neck on most of the bottles I wanted to use it on, luckily I had upgraded to a Colonna bench capper which included a 29mm capper insert.
