I make a 6 gallon carbouy at a time and put it in bottles. I use 3.15 lb.sizes for all my makings, the 6 gallon includes the extra sugar, malt, and water, it will bring the SG up to 1.055 making the abv 8% (but this depends on the persons taste) I also use distillers yeast in a 1 lb bag.It brings the wort down to 1.0 SG, then you can add your primer of 1 tsp.per 16 oz.bottle.Hope this answers your ???????Is the 6 pack made up of 6 lb jugs or 3.15 lb ones?BEST ANSWER: The six pack is made up of the 6 pound jugs.
