DetailsThese handles fit around the lip of glass carboys. They make an empty carboy easier to carry (especially when wet).
Note: Carboy handles are not meant to support the weight of a full carboy; the neck of the carboy could break. Always carry a full carboy by supporting it from the bottom!

5 months agoA good product, but didn't fit my bottlesI tried this on my 6.5 gallon bottles and the opening isn't wide enough to handle them, so I had to add some spacers and a longer bolt for them.January 8, 2017Purchased
over 2 years agogreat wine only. our localgreat wine only. our local liq. store carries a great selection of beersMarch 19, 2016Hard to handle a carboy without one of these. These handles are extremely well made and are an accessory you can not handle a carboy full of beer without. This handle is very easy to attach to a carboy and will last a lifetime. GREAT product and great value. I highly recommend if you have a 5-6 gallon glass carboy.March 3, 2014Makes carrying easierI still support it with both hands, but it makes it easier to position. They provide a helpful grip point.February 14, 2014A big help with carboysIts tough to lift filled carboys without these things. I support the boys with the other hand to avoid putting to much strain on the neck.December 21, 2013good buyThis is well worth the money. If you have ever lifted a full carboy, you know the struggle; this eases that for the fraction of the price for a brew hauler. Good buy.November 17, 2013A lifesaverAfter brewing a few batches of beer in our new carboy and needing to haul it up and down a flight of stairs for fermentation, we invested in a handle. Now, my husband is a pretty strong guy, however, the carboys were presenting themselves as a challenge to carry around...slippery when wet, heavy, and just all-around awkward. This handle has greatly improved their transportability. The first time we put it on, it was a little tricky to open but we've since had no problem. If you ferment in a carboy, do yourself a favor and grab one of these, too.November 4, 2013Much safer carrying down stairsI didn't have one of these until recently, first time I used my 6 gallon carboy i had to lug it down into the basement. I wasn't really thinking about how heavy it was going to be or how odd they are to carry. Getting one of these handles really helped out. They're cheap enough that it's not even worth going to home depot to try and make my own.November 3, 2013
