I use it mostly for bittering in my English Ales. But on my last batch instead of using East Kent Goldings, I used these for flavor and aroma. I like the aroma and would consider using these again as finishing hops.
The northern brewer hops add a nice flavor to my ales. When used as a 60 minute addition it adds a solid bitterness as well as the flavor. I just used it in a good English Maris Otter ale that came out great.
What can you say? These pellets get the job done, no second guesses here.
