I use this hop in a single malt and single hop session ale. For bittering, flavoring and dry hop in the end. Great aroma, and flavor.....
This is one of my favorite hops, period! It gives a nice citrus and pine aroma! It is terrific for both, bittering and dry hopping. When it comes to aroma and bittering, it doesn't get much better than this hop in my personal opinion. Wonderful for IPAs/Double IPAs, and this is a hop that I tend to reach for on a regular basis. Priced well and has great effect; if you haven't used this particular hop before and like IPAS, don't hesitate to try it!!
I'm enjoying teh Simco IPA kit thats sold here. It's my first major exposure to a purely Simcoe beer and it's very good. The bittering is smooth, it has a citrusy taste and a good aroma. It also dry hops well.
I really like Simcoe hops alot. They bitter well and taste clean. I use them for late addition and dry hopping also. The aroma is like a citrus pine forest mix, very nice.
