I bought these but I’m finding that the lid keep slipping off. Hopefully I can get help with it and overcome that issue

Worked Great

I put together a Spiced Peach and Pineapple Mead in this. I knew it was going to be a pain to clean out if I didn't use a big mouth bubbler. So this was the correct purchase to make.

I followed the suggestions others had made about making sure the spout seal was holding. In fact, I flipped the sealing ring over and forced a tighter seal. Worked great.

Plastic Big Mouth vs Glass Big Mouth

Great does an amazing job, as opposed to the 2 glass ones I recieved that were both crack from the warehouse. The product is from northern Brewer. So, I assume they do not inspect the packaging prior to shipping. It was recommended I try and blend out chipped glass on the second glass bubbler I recieved. In the end they simply refunded my money vs sending a third 1 gallon glass big mouth. Also midwest has no way to contact them via phone it's only email or text. Something I dont understand when you have a store that you can walk in and purchase items. How do your employees communicate with their supervisors. Raises an eye bro.

A fermenter that solves basically every problem

Brewing one (half-decent) gallon is hard enough, and this siphonless fermenter makes it a touch easier. It's plastic, which makes it lightweight; it has a wide mouth, making it fairly easy to clean (and way better than those thin-necked lads); and it has a built-in siphon port which is super convenient, and easy to clean. You can even get a lid with two ports for thermowell'd (read: temp-controlled) fermentation.

The downside? It's not made out of stainless steel!

Great product (so far)

My first batch of wine is still in process, but I love how easy it is to put together and the big mouth is wonderful. Not only will it make cleaning easier, but getting stuff into the fermenter was a cake walk. No instructions, but simple to put together and NO LEAKS. Great product so far.
