The US release of this highly-anticipated dry yeast selected for wheat beer fermentations. WB-06 yeast provides fruity and phenolic character, varying with the fermentation conditions. Produces well-attenuated beers and it is ideal for wheat base beers, such as Belgian and German Styles (Ex. Wit Beers and Weizen Beers). Produces typical phenolic notes of wheat beers. Allows to brew beer with a high drinkability profile and presents a very good ability to suspend during fermentation.

I used one pack in my wheat beer. The yeast worked very well. I get a nice banana and clove aroma, but I do get a bit of a lemon taste. It is good, but I was surprised with that lemon flavor.
Balanced bananna and clove flavors are not overpowering (about 72'F fermentation). Excellent EASY beer in 4 weeks or less. Yeast settles and clears better than others I've tried.
The hefenweizen came out great. It was a breeze to brew and the taste is amazing. I would highly recommend the all wheat variant! Has been a big hit with friends and family.
