Product Details

Bottle Seal Wax Beads help you achieve a tough, moisture-resistant coating that preserves freshness, flavor and fragrance in your wines, or beers, with these blends of FDA approved waxes with FD&C approved colors. We recommend melting the beads in soup cans; no mess to clean up off of pots, and any unused portion may be left in the can for remelting at a later time. You can dip the bottle in the wax for a more rustic look, or use a small measuring cup or spoon if you want the wax in a specific location. A one lb. bag of beads is good for approximately 65 bottles.

Bottles look fancy

Bottles look fancy with the wax on them. It separates them from plain old home made wine. I keep the bits in a cleaned out tin that I can heat up and melt and dip in the bottles. After opening them I scare off the wax and chuck it back in the tin for reuse.

Looks very nice and can be reused

I get compliments of how it looks. I melt it in a can that I cleaned by heating it on the stove. Just dip and twist and the top comes out coated in wax that soon hardens. After removing the wax, I just put it back in the can for a later day when i melt it all down.

The bottles look fabulous

This came out great and the bottles look fabulous. No way this wine was made at home :-)_x000D__x000D_The wax holds on well. It takes heat and time to loosen the wax to remove it because it stays on so well. To melt in a can keep it covered, and use low heat.
