Works good in standard fridge
This is a truly handy little keg. I would even say: invaluable. It works great and is so convenient for transporting and consuming beverages: beer, kombucha, etc. I know for the size it is rather expensive, but I use it as much as if not more than my 5 Gal corny.
Great product, excellent for small batch. We actually run Rum and coke out of one of them .
I purchased this keg for cyser & mead. It works well, I've had to play with regulator a little. Also, the seal needs to be just right, I've had to disengage & reseal the ball lock to get it to seal occasionally.
I was initially reluctant to buy this mini-keg kit because of the price. After all, I already had two-and-a-half gallon kegs, a regulator, and two 5# aluminum tanks. But I took the plunge, and I am really glad I did. 1 gallon of beer is the perfect size for smaller parties, and the entire apparatus is very lightweight and easy to transport. I haven't tried it yet, but I suspect a small CO2 canister like you use in spritzer bottles would probably provide enough pressure to dispense a gallon of beer if it was properly pressurized before beginning dispensing, making this even more transportable. I already have an adapter to fit the gas-in on ball lock kegs, so I'll try that next time.
