Product Details

Star San is an acid based no rinse sanitizer. Star San is odorless, flavorless, and requires only one to two minutes of contact time.

This product is only eligible for ground shipment within the contiguous United States.

Prevent your newly brewed batch from infection by sanitizing the equipment with Star San. This acid-based, non-toxic sanitizer is effective and easy-to-use, with no-rinsing required. Sanitize fermenters, vessels and more without having to wait (like with bleach) and rinse. Foaming action lets you know its working!

  • Works fast, requires only 1-2 minute contact time

  • Foaming action sanitizes larger vessels and gets into nooks, crevices and cracks

  • Odorless and flavorless, will not taint beer or wine

  • No rinsing needed when using recommended dilution

  • Use only one ounce per 5 gallons of water

Note: Any foam that is left over in your carboy or keg will not harm beer or you as it is safe and non-toxic. You can minimize the foaming effect by adding Star San to the vessel after the water has been added, and by siphoning as opposed to pouring the solution between vessels. Allow extra time for draining.

This product is only eligible for ground shipment within the contiguous United States.

Star San

I use this product to clean bottles that need a little extra attention after having extended conditioning ale styles in them such as a Barleywine or Strong Belgian. Works great using the overnight soaking method.

Good stuff.. but it is expensive

Star San

Used this for the first time 2 weeks ago before starting a batch of Wheat Beer. Worked good, dried clearer than I've seen with similar ingredients.

No more had batches.

I haven't had a contamination issue since using this product. I keep a bucket of it for a month before changing it out. So, it really lasts a long time.

Great product

I've used it 100% of the time when I brew for all equipment and surfaces. Almost a decade later, no complaints.
The squeeze measure is nice, but I use the pour side with a separate 1oz measure. It's so much faster.
