The new Universal Harness was designed to highlight our Big Mouth Bubbler family, a product of the same innovation and passion for making homebrewing easier. By making it locally, our engineers were given the flexibility to customize, test and tweak every detail of the Harness' construction along the way. This journey has resulted in the toughest and most modular homebrew handler on the planet, equipped with enough strength and durability to meet all your fermentation needs. Whether lifting, transporting, sanitizing, or storing, the Harness holds tight to its passenger. The included detachable lid retention strap ensures your Big Mouth Bubbler lid stays in place during even the most intense fermentations so you can sleep better at night.

Hands get slippery with sanitizer on them. I leave this on through ferment cleaning and put away.
I noticed the movement on the straps mentioned in other reviews but spent a little time fine tuning strap tightness and position. With some attention while moving it works very well on my 5 and 6 gallon carboys and stows in little space.
Good quality straps and buckles. Easy to attach, but comes with a tipping hazard as the carry handles free flow on the carrier and inevitably slide too close together. Almost lost 6 gallons of wine on first use. Best bet sew the handles in place, or never carry without a friend for stability.
I ordered the big mouth bubbler and glass carboy. Both with the Universal Harness. The harness worked great. It took a little figuring out to get the proper placement and adjustment , but once that was achieved it was perfect. The grab handle loops really help in the lifting of a full big mouth bubbler and full glass carboy. Be sure to have the handle loops exactly opposite each other or it will try to tip when lifting. Overall...a great addition for the bubbler and carboy.
I have 1- 6.5 gallon, 1- 6 gallon, and 3- 5 gallon glass carboys that get used a lot. I brew a lot of beer. These harnesses make it so much easier to lift these and I think a lot safer. The glass carboys I use are heavy enough when empty, add 5 or 6 gallons of wort and they become very heavy. To me, it is money well spent.
had to add a some strings to help hold it upto stop it from falling down it works ok.
