not really a 3/8" barb

The ones I received in Nov 2011 were not really a 3/8" barb. At the tip of the barbs it actually measures a little less then 3/8". Normally, a "3/8 inch barb" actually measures more than 3/8" at the tip. This would ensure a tight fit when using 3/8" ID tubing. The case with these is that if you used 3/8" ID tubing it would be a fairly loose fit, absolutely requiring some sort of clamp to make a seal even at very low pressure._x000D__x000D_The price is excellent, but I advise if you want to connect 3/8" ID tubing, look elsewhere.
