Garnet with ruby highlights, with aromas of dark cherry, plums and raspberry and a dry finish that comes from lovely, balanced acidity and silky, smooth tannins. Richer in flavour and aroma than the color suggests, it pairs well with richer fish—salmon, or grilled sardines—or soft cheeses.

My second time mixing this with my home grown Pinot juice. First time worked like a charm so feeling good about this years which currently in racking.
Can’t keep enough on hand. Friends, neighbors and family all get a taste and want more. Thanks for the smiles yet to come.
Easy directions. We will not drink for another month. It looks very promising.
Tastes great!! This is my second batch and I expect it to be the same as my first batch.
This wine was discounted at about half price, so I figured it may be nearing the end of it's shelf life. So, we were hoping for the best, but kept our expectations rather low. We are not a fan of a lot of oak flavor in wine, so we only used half of the oak chips. We were pleasantly surprised at the result. We had it with salmon and stuffed crab meat on Friday night, and pork loin steaks fired on a charcoal grill on Saturday night. In both cases it was a very pleasant pairing. I would very much recommend this kit to anyone wanting to get started in wine making. The instructions are clear, concise, and easy to follow.
