Lalvin ICV D-47 wine yeast, or Saccharomyces cerevisiae, will produce white wines of superior quality. The complex carbohydrates impart an enhanced mouthfeel.

I used this yeast to make mead and it worked great. I've used champagne yeast in the past, but the alcohol content would be too high for my preference, so I switched and am happy with it
Strong yeast, its turning honey juice into mead as I type.
Not for stone fruit still meads in my opinion. Hard to balance honey and fruit flavors while having a very distinguishable white wine flavor. Fermented >18%
Nice dry yeast for white wines. I use this for my apple cider wine along with yeast nutrient. Smooth finish, nice mouth feel, clean taste, Ferments out fully dry, clears well, no residual sediments after bottling.
I used nutrients and It fermented a nice Pinot Grigio. Cleared well and the wine came out medium bodied._x000D_
