Product Details

Thirty six major awards. Four-time Brewers International Champion. Four-time CAMRA Beer of the Year. Simply put, the muse for this kit has won more awards than any other English beer, period. From very simple ingredients comes a wonderfully well-balanced dram of classic strong pale ale. Spicy, herbal, and English biscuits. Flashes of clean citrus and chewy minerals blend into a complex finish that is refreshingly bitter and remarkably dry. The way a pint was meant to taste. Truly spot on!

If you enjoyed Brass Ale (Bass), or Big Ben Pale Ale, you'll love this kit!

Nice Balance

Although I goofed up the order of doing the hops completely, (read everything through first before you begin). It turned out with a nice malt smell and the hops are great (after 3 days in the Keg). Bottled 2.5 gal and legged 2.5 gal. Couple more weeks before I give the bottles a taste. First impressions are very positive.

Great tasting Engilsh pale ale

Despite the lower gravity (mine came in around 4%), this is a great tasting English pale ale. Very drinkable, very English, highly recommended.

The Inkeeper Ale Incredible

This was an incredible kit. I followed it pretty much exactly and it’s an amazing beer. Result was a bit more amber(y) then I expected but an amazing flavor.

The Innkeeper Ale

The Kit arrived in very good condition and it is at the secondary fermentation stage. I usually let it sit for a good while, I found it helps with the clearing and the colour of the final product. So far my husband never complained.
