Created in 1971, the Super Tuscan style blends the fine, dusty tannins and tart cherry of Chianti with the bold, forward fruit and deeper grip of Bordeaux. Full-bodied and dry, with farm fresh raspberries, bright red cherry and blackberry fruit, licorice, and spice complemented by zesty acidity, and a long, generous finish, rounded out with black pepper, vanilla and sweet oak.
Acidity makes this a natural with tomato sauces and tannin tackles any rich or unctuous food. Try it with Tuscan style pork roast, lamb shanks braised in herbed tomato sauce, or a wild mushroom lasagne.

I have not bottled it or tasted this wine yet.
One of the best kits I make.
This wine is great! The kit was very easy to follow. This is a smooth dry Italian red. It doesn't take that long to age before it's delicious and drinkable. We have made several kits and this is one of our favorites. It will not disappoint.
I bottled yesterday after starting about 6 weeks ago. It tasted great!! This is a rich, full bodied, deep red wine, as advertised. I highly recommend it and would buy it again.
It is now in its balk aging stage a sample thus far tells me it’s going to be among the best wine that I’ve made. I like to balk age my wine several months in its 6 gallon carboys
