I am not a beginner when It comes to brewing beer. I have brewed quite a few extract beers and a few all-grain ones as well. If you are looking for an extremely easy intro beer to brew this is the one. There is nothing fancy about this kit and the final product is drinkable and something new brewers can be proud of. As far as how the beer tastes it is a simple wheat beer with a little sweetness and a nice touch of bitterness (keep in mind I am writing this review before the beer is fully carbonated in my keg so some carbonation will definitely help the beer). While brewing I decided to start with the full volume (for me about 1.8 gallons) instead of adding extra to the fermentor after boiling. This got me 1 gallon of wort with an OG of 1.038 after a couple of weeks of fermentation at 68 F and a couple days of cold crashing to drop any sediment an FG of 1.011 was what I was at this bringing the beer to 3.54% abv which is very sessionable. As I said before if you are looking for an easy beer to get into brewing that you don't have to worry about messing up too much this is the one for you.

This is ok, but there are better wheat beers out there. Keep in mind, I have drank all that I bottled

The packaging and instructions were excellent. I'm in the bottling phase and looking forward to that first sip!
