Product Details

One of the signature brews of Bavaria, Hefeweizen is a medium-bodied, effervescent ale practically exploding with yeast and wheat malt character — kind of like a liquid multigrain bread. Our hefeweizen beer kit is 100% traditional — cloudy, malty, and spicy, with a smooth mouthfeel and dense, whipped-cream head. Serve in a tall glass “mit hefe,” and swirl the bottle to make sure you get all the yeast!

If you enjoyed Bavarian Wheat, you'll love this kit!

Bavarian Hefeweizen

Very easy to brew , fermentation took off really fast and was done in 48 hours . It’s still resting, can’t wait to bottle and taste.

Excellent Hefeweizen recipe.

Excellent Hefeweizen recipe. I made a mistake (measuring my home grown hops) but still absolutely delicious brew! I’ll use a more precise measurement next time but I definitely will order again! I even had my professional brewer brothers test it and they really liked it (even slightly hoppy). This was my second recipe and I already have the third in hand to start brewing. It was fast and easy to do. Fermentation was right on time (2 weeks) and bottling time was really fast (I drank at a week and was spot on) too.

Nice flavorable beer and easy to make. Though it does not need secondary aging in glass carbo once fermitation is complete - 7 to 10 days - to keep the sediment down I transfer it into my bottling bucket and let it sit for a couple of days before adding surgar and then bottling.
