Product Details

Irish ales are malty, smooth, medium-bodied, and most, like our kit, are a deep copper-red color that is created by a blend of specialty malts. Our malt blend also gives this recipe its signature toasty and sweet aroma and flavor. Another defining characteristic of Irish Red Ales are their immense drinkability - definitely a crowd-pleaser beer. Its great taste, drinkability, and low aging requirements make this our best-selling kit.

I like it but use extract kits because I can’t brew over open flame in my apartment

Irish Red

I've made this several times, one of our favorites!

Irish Red Ale tastes like Killians

Had neighbors over for Thanksgiving drinking my Homebrew Irish Red. Several thought it was Killians all loved it.

W
Willy M.
Irish Red All Grain

Brewed this a couple times and it’s great every time!

M
Michael P.
Irish red - all grain

I hit the OG but the beer taste more like a porter then an Irish Ale. I was expecting more of an Irish Red taste like Smithwick's, however, it still taste good and is drinkable.
