Crisp and light, with intense flavors of grapefruit peel and freshly cut grass and an accent of light oak on the finish. The wine presents soft hues, with a slight tinge of green.

Only in the bottle for 10 days and nothing but good compliments from friends at 1st tasting.
Everything you'd expect from a NZ Sauvignon Blanc - good body with complex citrus flavors. The best white wine I've made from a kit yet, and my friends love it. The first comment is usually just - wow!
This has started out very well, it sat on the oak for only about 4 weeks then I racked into a secondary to bulk age for a while. Don't use the oak if you want the really crisp, minerality of a traditional Marlborough style Sauv Blanc, I oaked it b/c my wife likes buttery Chardonnay so this is a middle ground. So far it tastes great, looking foreward to when it's done.
Couldn’t ask for a better wine kit. This wine turned out fantastic , it can be ready to drink after bottled but I recommend waiting for at least 2 months for a very outstanding wine. Already bought another kit and started the fermentation as soon as it arrived.
Nice wine but a bit sweet for a Sauvignon Blanc. Could be I rushed the fermentation and did not let the yeast finish up on the sugar. Still makes a good Spring wine.
