Ripe, full and concentrated, this wine bursts with aromas of blackberry, notes of black cherry and blueberry and an assured spiciness.
Serve with rich, flavorful dishes like osso buco, roast lamb, traditional Hungarian goulash. For a purely American treat, Carolina pulled pork or Texas brisket. For culinary adventurers, red wine braised octopus. Shiraz isn't just a meat-eating wine though: try it with Puy lentils braised with mushrooms and root vegetables for a savory, satisfying meal.
Serve slightly cool (65F) to keep the tannins firm and the fruit lush — and even if you're not doing a food pairing, try it with a piece of bittersweet chocolate. You'll be amazed at how well they go together!

Nothing negative to say
Have ordered before, one year aging and is so silky and smooth.
This Master Vintner Shiraz has a good fruity taste. I used 3 ounces of oak cubes (a mixture of American and French) for about 3 weeks. The wine is still very new - 2 weeks in the bottles - and has a mild berry taste, but isn't very tannic. Shiraz is probably a good choice if you want to make a sweet red.
ONE OF THE EASIEST KITS I HAVE EVER MADE. EVER THING WENT SMOOTH AND SO FAR THE WINE TASTE GOOD. LIKE TO GIVE IT ABOUT EIGHT MORE MONTHS TO SEE THE FINAL PRODUCT BUT SO FAR SO GOOD
