Did the trick
Whether with freshly crushed must or quick and clean from Costco, I get a great clean finish and crisp apple flavor in my ciders. I have tried both for straight apple and those with other fruits/spices as added flavors. Easy.
Will order more sone
Well, one package of yeast went into homemade bread. The 2 loaves of bread turned out very well fine-textured, with a sweet yeasty scent when I cut it up The other two have gone into a vat of mead. It has worked well on the must, but it will be a while before it is clarified enough for drinking.
I used this yeast to make mead and it worked great. I've used champagne yeast in the past, but the alcohol content would be too high for my preference, so I switched and am happy with it
