5.0 / 5.03 ReviewsGreat for beer on the goUsed this for the first time while ice fishing in northern MN. Works great for tap beer. I was using 3 gallons kegs and one CO2 cartridge was able to dispense the entire keg. Can't wait to use it this summer for family get togethers!January 25, 2013cool little gadget!Bought one of these along with my 5 gal homebrew keg setup about a year ago for something I could use on the go. It works very well to add a little extra CO2 to the keg as you go but since there is no pressure gauge and regulator its tough to keep it at a good pressure. I really like using this for cleaning/purging the keg when I'm cleaning it out since I don't need to drag my whole gas line setup outside or to the kitchen when I get ready to put the next brew in. One or two cartridges seems to do the trick for 5gallons.July 8, 2013PortabilityIt works well for 3 gallon kegs which is how I usually use it. All I needed was one CO2 cartridge for the entire keg. For 5 gallon kegs it takes 2 cartridges.March 2, 2014

Browse 4 questions Browse 4 questions and 4 answersRegarding CO2 cartridges used in this injector, do they have to be non-threaded or will threaded ones work too (much easier to find)?BEST ANSWER: It works with both! Cartridges screw right in, or you can use the back cover part to hold the threadless ones in place. Cheers!Doe this use threaded or unthreaded c02 cartridges?BEST ANSWER: It works with both actually! I prefer to use the threaded ones!I just purchased the Cannonball Mini. Is there a way to adapt this compact injector to fit the cannonball unit? I'm just looking to save some space in the fridge post-carbonationBEST ANSWER: This unit has 1/4" threading so you simply need a ball lock gas disconnect 1/4" MFL to connect it. The injector works best, since it does not regulate gas flow, by putting a quick burst of gas into the keg, then is disconnected...you can accomplish the same thing with your full sized co2 tank so I really might just recommend doing the same thing with that equipment. Cheers!Does this unit use the 16 gram CO2 cartridge and do you have one with a pressure gauge? If so I will want to buy one to fit a ball "Cannonball" unit. Will a 74 gram co2 cartridge fit it?BEST ANSWER: This unit does use the 16g cartridge, but it does not have a gauge. It will also not work with a 74g cartridge.
