4.3 / 5.03 Reviewsgreat lid, a little priceyCame in great condition and made a great tight seal on first close. A little pricey however.January 11, 2013Expensive but worth the ease of ventingI purchased 3 of these (a temporary ouch to the wallet) to replace some non-manually vent able lids. I do have a similar model from a previous purchase and absolutely love the ability to purge the keg manually. Although I have not yet put these new lids to use, I plan to shortly. I have rated the price at 3 stars because for this cost I could have almost purchased a whole reconditioned keg (without manually vented lid). 5 stars on the value of being able to manually purge a keg for any reason; and 4 stars on the quality; which looks great but hasn't yet been through the test of use.February 14, 2013Very pricey cheap accessoriesNew Lid and new posts I'm at the price of a reconditioned (and tested) keg. Ring on the release valve is cheap and bends the first time you pull on it to purge and the feet on the lock handle are plastic which will wear out quickly. This purchase may be going back now that I've sat on it for day.March 20, 2013

Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 2 answersDoes this matter if it is a ball lock or a pin lock keg ?BEST ANSWER: The lid works for both pin lock and ball lock kegs, it will not work on racetrack style kegs, but that is the only exception(square lid). As long as your keg is an oval, this one should work just fine. This lid looks round (unlike the lid I have on my other Corny keg). Can you confirm this and provide a measurement? I have an unidentifiable old pin-lock Coke keg (4.75 gal) with a roughly 3.5" round opening. Thanks!BEST ANSWER: The lid is oval shaped and will ft any standard pin lock or ball lock lid opening. but not a race track keg which has a more rectangular lid.
