Actually the last time I used it I added 8oz to a Scotch Ale & it gave the ale a very pleasant dark caramel and dark fruit taste. The fruit taste was not overwhelming and added to the complexity of the scotch ale. A very good product. Will be using in my Belgian dark strong soon!March 5, 2018Purchased
1 year agoGreat for boosting BelgiansThis makes a great addition to dark belgian beers. Adds nice color while lightening the body. Easier to use than candi sugar since it dissolves more easily.December 10, 2012
