DetailsThe 5 Lb. Aluminum CO2 Tank is a great size that fits in almost every refrigerator, plus it is still small enough to take on the road. This tank will usually carbonate and dispense 10 or 12- 5 gallon kegs per fill up.
Note: Federal law requires that the CO2 tanks be shipped empty. They can be filled at your local welding supply shop, or look in the phone book under Gas-Industrial, Medical.

It appeared to be a solid tank and I bet it would have worked well, the problem is that all of the local places for me to buy CO2 only deal on a swap basis so I'll probably never see this tank again. Right now I have a beat-up aluminum tank sitting in my fridge. Not that I care about appearance, but do some research before splurging on a new tank to see if swapping is your only option. If it is, do yourself a favor and find a cheaper option since the first thing you will do with it is hand it over to the CO2 guy.March 4, 2013Great productexcellent tank came in quick had it filled locally and it works great.December 26, 2015Works greatIt's true you can save $25 by buying a recondition tank. But those tanks can be unreliable. In addition they are not Aluminum, they are heavier, some kind of steel. And some of them rust which causes stains on the floor. Plus, this is a nice looking tank. I guess it depends on your situation but I'm more than happy with this.January 12, 2013Nice TankThis is a decent sized tank for the price. Some of the used tanks I was looking at were out of certification (One was 14 years past.). $25 to have it tested. Be prepared for that expense if you are considering a used tank.April 3, 2013Tank it isIt is a nice new tank. The price is pretty high but you are getting a brand new tank at that price. Not worth it if you plan on doing an exchange later, but if you are going to have it filled it will last you a lifetime, my guess.April 5, 2013Good tankI'm not looking to save money at the expense of reliability. I prefer the new tank to the reconditioned one. No rust, no leaks.April 16, 2013ReliabilityIt's not worth it to me to save a little money and worry about an unreliable tank. If it fails just once, your cost saving sis gone, and your beer is flat. I don't consider the trade off worth it. This tank is lighter than the heavy reconditioned ones.August 4, 2013Product Reviewa great 5 lb tank...definitely buy the aluminum as opposed to the old metal ones because they leave rust in kegerators/keezers. Optimally, if you can afford it, buy the 10 lb tank, especially if you run two or three beers in your kegerator/keezer. Great product and highly recommended.August 12, 2013Good tankThis is a great aluminum CO2 tank. I was able to locate a store that will refill it so I don't have to worry about trading it in and getting a beat up one. This one works great and have never had any issues.August 16, 2013Great TankThese are great. They look awesome and are compact. I had to trade mine in due to not having a place to actually fill it so a little disappointed but good value and will last you through several kegs._x000D_August 21, 2013
